Having a designated space for productivity and creativity is an absolute necessity. Your home office should be a workspace that inspires and motivates you to check everything off of your to-do list. Today, we’re going to give you some of our home office design hacks you need to try.

1. Create your own inspiration wall

Everyone finds inspiration in all kinds of different forms. You can print out some of your favorite photographs you found online, or dig up the clippings from your old magazines. All it takes is a Washi Tape (or anything that sticks), and you’re good to go to complete your customized wall of daily visual inspiration.

2. Bring nature into your workspace

Work can sometimes be really stressful. But as I said in our previous post, having an urban jungle can really brighten up your day. Pot a few succulents or small cacti and make your small space sing!

3. Organize it with organizers

Bits and bobs like paper clips or scissors can be really hard to find sometimes. All it takes is an investment in a small organizer to tackle all those stacks and stacks of papers. A tidy workspace not only saves you time, but also helps you to remember important tasks and avoid misplacing documents.

4. Maximize your space with mirrors

Expanding walls, amplifying light, breaking up visual clutter, mirrors can be used to solve most any design dilemma! A small tip is to place your mirror behind a light source. This could be behind a candle, a pendant light, or a bedside lamp with the power to maximize the light’s reach while creating an almost magical effect.

GoldnMarble Décor offers a variety of Peruvian Artisan mirrors, perfect to brighten up your workspace! Check them out to see how they could be a great addition to your room.

And there you have it – a few simple tips to make your small personal home office space work and get your motivated to jump into work!
